I use two sources for music for my stationery and web pages. The first source is sites featuring original compositions for which I have permission to use from the composer/sequencer (who holds copyright to the material). The second source is sites offering music in the Public Domain. In that case, I obtain permission from the person who holds copyright to the sequencing of the MIDI file. Click here for links to the Sequencers websites.

Below are links to the sites offering original musical compositions.

I surely hope no more of the composers' MIDI sites close down. I'm so happy I gained their permission and downloaded their files before they disappeared. Those files are the only "legal" sources of music for my stationery.

The following websites seem to have closed: James K. Taylor, Deb Ackley, Eleanor Adams, Rusty Redden, and T.C. Gannon. Some have changed to offering MP3 files and I've changed the links to those new websites. I continue to watch for the return of John Bloise's website.

As I create new stationery I verify that the links to composer's websites are valid. It is virtually impossible, however, to keep up with which sites have closed. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused by dead links in stationery added to my site earlier. If interested in any of the composers without valid links above, I suggest you try using your search engine.

I'm always searching for some new composers and open to help in this department, too. Must be original MIDI compositions. Don't hesitate to write if you are a composer or know of someone whose music I might want to use.

MIDI on this page "Danza Ocaso" composed and © Geoff Anderson, and used with permission. I appreciate the artistry and generosity of the folks listed here. Please visit their sites and leave a word of thanks for the enjoyment they bring us. Several of these musicians have CDs and MP3s available, just in case you're looking for some new music or a gift.
